I'm the fourth of seven and can't say which I love more. I have three brothers and three sisters, two brothers too old for me to relate to.
I love all of them, but they all can be aggravating or depressing, since depression and bipolar run in my family. If I had to pick, it would be my twin sister. She has always been there, and she has a healthy mind. She's helped me through plenty of dark places and supported me despite all the bad things that I've done, to her, to myself, and to others.

There’s no way to sound like a nice person, when I read my statement below. I’ve written about my splintered family before in Quora answers. My mother married 6 times, gaining a step sister, and a step brother. My father remarried and had 3 children, a half brother and two half sisters. I have one full brother, but we were separated several times when we were very young, between 1 and 6 years, and then lost track of each other.

I have a sister and 2 step brothers (not counting the children of my dad's girlfriend with whom he didn't get together until I graduated from college, but who are pretty awesome nonetheless).
I have a very friendly relationship with all of my siblings but having been raised separately for the most part from tboys, I'm much closer to my sister. The reality is that in terms of personality, values and interests my youngest step brother is much more similar to me but the shared experience of being raised together makes my sister by far my preferred person to be around.
